    9月7日，北京殘奧會展開第一個比賽日的爭奪，在游泳、場地自行車、柔道和射擊比賽中產(chǎn)生27枚金牌，分別由13國運動員獲得。在首日的比賽中，多項世界紀錄被打破。中國選手杜劍平在男子100米自由泳-S3級別決賽中以1分35秒21的成績奪冠并打破世界紀錄，摘得中國軍團本屆殘奧會首枚金牌。
